Highlight of the month

Join us at the Global Zero Waste Cities Summit on 31 May

Join us on 31 May, 2023 for the very first Global Zero Waste Cities Summit, hosted by GAIA and Zero Waste Europe!

This virtual event unites government officials, waste management professionals, civil society organizations, and waste and climate advocates from around the globe. By joining the summit, you will get a unique opportunity to explore the latest developments in local zero waste strategies, while also engaging with colleagues working within a diverse range of contexts in order to gain deeper insights into how such initiatives can help your own city achieve its climate commitments.

Catering to all time zones, the summit is divided into two tracks: the first takes place between 7-11 GMT (Asia Pacific, Africa and Europe), while the second takes place between 16-20 GMT (Americas).
