Hi there, dear Reader!

This November, we invite you to take a closer look at electronic waste (also known as WEEE), a growing challenge for Europe’s circular economy. To mark the European Week for Waste Reduction (22–30 November), which focuses this year on WEEE, we’ve prepared a series of factsheets that explore the current state of e-waste in Europe and highlight inspiring initiatives driving reuse and repair.

It’s also been an eventful autumn: in October, we hosted a webinar on Extended Producer Responsibility under the EU Circular Economy Act (recordings and slides available here) and joined the 4th Zero Waste Conference in TallinnAs November unfolds, we look ahead to the Global Experts Conference on Spain’s Deposit Return System and COP30 preparations in Brazil.
