New playbook: a single-use waste prevention plan for local authorities

What if your city could shift away from single-use materials - one event, one building, one public space at a time?

Zero Waste Europe has just released a practical playbook to help municipalities turn ambition into action. Built from real plans already in force across the Elevating Reuse in Cities (ERIC) project, from Viladecans (Spain) to Lyon (France), this guide walks local authorities through every step: framing the problem, mapping the legal landscape (SUPD, PPWR and beyond), building a baseline, setting objectives, and picking from a menu of 8 ready-to-adapt policy measures covering events, public buildings, procurement, and public spaces.

ðŸ“– Read the full playbook and start building your city's single-use waste prevention plan.
